Overall, convenient to use for many services. Recommended app to have in Laos. The one negative is the lack of transparency in fees. Unlike other ride hailing apps I've used (like Grab), the fee for Loca is almost always higher than the estimated amount. Also, for the QR payment service where you can link your credit card, I did not see any notice stating the % fee taken from each transaction. This is something that should be clearly communicated.

This app is awful. It cannot even find popular locations in Vientiane to pick up from or set as destination, and when you enter a plus code, nothing seems to happen. USELESS. Update: I do have the latest version of this app, it still is still absolutely useless. Why can't you guys just implement Google maps properly? it can find locations, but Loca app cannot, even if you try to search by name or plus code. Very difficult and annoying to use.

The app has many areas that could be improved — the list would be too long. It feels slow and buggy, and the overall user experience is rather poor. Registering a credit card is a nightmare. A message to the developers: please take a look at Grab or Uber for inspiration — if you can make the app even slightly closer to their level, it would already be a big step forward.
