LoopBreak: Reel Scroll Counter

appcraftstudio

About this app

How many reels did you watch today? Most people guess far too low.

LoopBreak counts every reel and short video you watch and keeps the number on screen while you scroll. Seeing it go up is often enough to put the phone down.

LIVE COUNTER
A small counter floats over the video player and ticks up with every swipe. Drag it anywhere. Tap it to switch between today's total and how many you've watched in a row.

YOUR DAY IN NUMBERS
• Reels and shorts watched today, per app
• Time spent in short-video players
• Your busiest hour of the day
• How today compares with yesterday and your weekly average
• 7-day and 30-day history

A DAILY LIMIT THAT ACTUALLY INTERRUPTS
Pick a daily number. The counter turns amber as you get close and red once you're past it. At the limit, a break screen covers the video and asks if you want to stop — one tap takes you to the home screen.

WORKS WITH
Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Facebook Reels, TikTok and Snapchat Spotlight are in beta.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• LoopBreak has no internet permission. Nothing you do can leave your phone.
• No account, no ads, no tracking.
• It never reads messages, comments, names or anything you type.

WHY ACCESSIBILITY?
To notice when another app moves to a new video, LoopBreak uses Android's Accessibility service. It only looks at the five video apps above, only at the layout of their video player, and only after you turn it on yourself. It is not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities.

What’s new

First release of LoopBreak: a live counter for reels and shorts, daily totals and history, a daily limit with a break screen. Works with Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts; Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat in beta. No internet access — everything stays on your phone.
