Learn English the way you actually acquire a language — by listening to real
people, with the words in front of you.

Lora plays genuine podcasts and university lectures while the transcript
scrolls beside the audio, highlighting the words as you hear them. No invented
exercises, no streaks to maintain, no vocabulary lists to grind. Just real
English, made followable.


HOW IT WORKS

1. Pick a collection graded to your level, from beginner to advanced.
2. Press play. The transcript follows along, marking where you are.
3. Stuck on a word? Tap it to jump the audio back and hear it again. Hold it
to see what it means.


HOLD A WORD, UNDERSTAND A SENTENCE

Press and hold any word and Lora shows you three things: its English
definition, the word in your own language, and — the part that matters — the
whole sentence translated.

That last one is deliberate. English is full of expressions where the words lie
to you. Look up "dish" in "he can dish it out but he can't take it" and a
dictionary says plate. Only the sentence tells you what it really means. Lora
translates both, into any of 29 languages.

Collections are graded by CEFR level, so you can start where you actually are
and move up when it stops being hard.

exists to make it followable rather than to sell it back to you.


WHO IT'S FOR

Intermediate learners who understand English on paper but lose it the moment a
native speaker opens their mouth. If you can read an article but can't follow a
podcast, the gap is listening — and listening is the only thing that closes it.
