Trash app which makes a decent product a trash product. I think the opener itself is fantastic, but the app ruins it. As I type this, I am about to drive to a home improvement store and purchase a different garage door opener. If you're looking into purchasing a Ryobi GDO; DON'T. Again, the unit itself is fine, but the app is unresponsive more often than not, and is the only reason to invest in the unit. Spend the extra money, get a Chamberlain Edit: Unit is dead

Junk app. Cannot even open it a few times each year. It keeps stating that's my phone is not connected to the internet. Now, the app having issues not able to detect any wireless network. With older android version, the app is able to detect wireless networks. However, it will not be able to connect the any network. This likely means there is a security issue settings not up to date with the app. Old source code in the app. Dumb and dumber created and maintained the app.

Has stopped working since the last update on 23 Feb 24. It keeps telling me that my wifi needs to be connected. My device is connected, and it still doesn't work. Frustrating. 18Jul2024 Okay, I'm having the same issue again and am unable to use the app to open or close the garage. I think I'm done with all Ryobi equipment. I'm going to go with a myQ product way more stable and interactive. I paid good money for this unit for it not to work. Must have a backup to get in and out of the garage.
