The app has had limited functionality for years now, occasionally not able to use it at all . It was working fine for me yesterday (just use it for opening and closing door) and today there is no response from the garage door. I have updated version and a older version on another phone and both get no response. Previous times the app did not work it would ask for wifi to be turned on even if it was on phone, this time just nothing happens when trying to open/close

Trash app which makes a decent product a trash product. I think the opener itself is fantastic, but the app ruins it. As I type this, I am about to drive to a home improvement store and purchase a different garage door opener. If you're looking into purchasing a Ryobi GDO; DON'T. Again, the unit itself is fine, but the app is unresponsive more often than not, and is the only reason to invest in the unit. Spend the extra money, get a Chamberlain Edit: Unit is dead

Junk app. Cannot even open it a few times each year. It keeps stating that's my phone is not connected to the internet. Now, the app having issues not able to detect any wireless network. With older android version, the app is able to detect wireless networks. However, it will not be able to connect the any network. This likely means there is a security issue settings not up to date with the app. Old source code in the app. Dumb and dumber created and maintained the app.
