Junk app. Cannot even open it a few times each year. It keeps stating that's my phone is not connected to the internet. Now, the app having issues not able to detect any wireless network. With older android version, the app is able to detect wireless networks. However, it will not be able to connect the any network. This likely means there is a security issue settings not up to date with the app. Old source code in the app. Dumb and dumber created and maintained the app.

Has stopped working since the last update on 23 Feb 24. It keeps telling me that my wifi needs to be connected. My device is connected, and it still doesn't work. Frustrating. 18Jul2024 Okay, I'm having the same issue again and am unable to use the app to open or close the garage. I think I'm done with all Ryobi equipment. I'm going to go with a myQ product way more stable and interactive. I paid good money for this unit for it not to work. Must have a backup to get in and out of the garage.

I was early in the Ryobi gdo game and was initially pleased. This has changed. Recently, within the last month or 2, the app disconnected from my unit. I have now spent 2 hours attempting to reconnect. That's too long. I have reset, unplugged, changed passwords, and any other trick that most humans would attempt, but nothing. The PRIMARY reason I purchased this unit was the app feature, and now after 3 years of it working it has stopped. Ryobi, time is supposed to make it better, not worse.
