Ludwig is a music practice app for classical musicians: a practice journal, a sheet music viewer and a repertoire tracker in one.
Every piece you play sits on a five-stage mastery ladder, from first read-through to performing from memory. Practising moves it up. You judge the stage by ear; Ludwig never grades you.

Timed sessions logged per piece. Weekly goals, streaks, a 100-day heat map, and a full log you can still read in November.
A SHEET MUSIC READER
Photograph your marked-up copies or import PDFs, and every score lives with the piece it belongs to. Pinch to zoom, pencil in fingerings, turn pages with a tap or a Bluetooth pedal. On a tablet in landscape you get a proper two-page spread.

Your practice queue. PLANNED keeps the order you set. COACH builds it for you, putting the pieces that need attention first, so the one you have been quietly avoiding stops getting avoided.
PROGRAMMES
Add a recital, exam or eisteddfod and Ludwig builds a programme around it: the pieces in running order, each with its performance length, a total against your slot, and which piece is furthest from where it needs to be.
LESSONS
Tag a session as a lesson, capture what your teacher said mid-piece, and send them a practice summary as a PDF before you have left the room.
ANY INSTRUMENT
Piano-first, but it works for violin, cello, voice, guitar, flute, clarinet, oboe, trumpet, harp and organ, each with its own repertoire and goals. A catalogue of around 25,000 classical works to pull pieces from, so you are not typing your repertoire in by hand.
NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER
Everything stays on your device. Ludwig works offline, has no login, and backs up to your own cloud storage.
