Luma is the best platform to host your events. With the Luma Events Check In app, you can easily browse your upcoming events and manage guests. On the day of the event, you can check in guests by QR code or by searching for their name or email.

I love Luma on my desktop, but once traveling to the event without access to a computer, I relied on my Android phone app to show me late registrations to approve. I couldn't see which registrations were outstanding or all of those on the guest list (anyone beyond the letter K). I could search for guests as they arrived, but not seeing who I needed to approve or the entire list was a massive problem. My colleague has the app on her iPhone and can see everything.

One day before our event day, our account got suspended due to the email blast feature, and with it our ability to check-in guests, change admins, or do anything else in the account. We urgently reached out to customer service, where the founder said "too many of your emails bounced" without offering a solution or responding to numerous follow-up emails. Also, attendees got notified Luma is fraudulent and credit cards won't work with them. Terrible experience. Cancelled our subscription.

I personally like Luma but I dont like their subscription renewal policy which is unethical. They charge renewals without sending any notifications first, and then refuse customers who reach out for a refund. Very unethical & shady business practises!
