We developed the Detect App to facilitate Dry Eye Camps by enabling efficient screening and assessment of dry eye symptoms.
The application evaluates patients using two key diagnostic tools: the OSDI (Ocular Surface Disease Index) Score to assess symptom severity, and Tear Film Break-Up Time (TBUT) to measure tear film stability. These results help indicate the severity of dry eye conditions.
While the app provides valuable preliminary insights, final diagnosis and treatment decisions are made by a qualified doctor, who may prescribe medication based on a comprehensive clinical evaluation.
