Hey! I’m Lyndi Cohen – Australian dietician and nutritionist.

I really used to struggle with food and my weight. I was either 'trying to be good' or eating peanut butter straight from the jar! I'd promise to do better but I was all-or-nothing.

Eventually, I decided to ditch diets for a totally new approach to food. I lost 20kg but that turned out to be just an added bonus because now my life isn't controlled by food.

Now, I help others get healthy and this in turn became Back to Basics – an app developed together with experts across women’s health, fitness, pregnancy and mindfulness, sharing what worked for me backed by science and industry research.

Great resource. Easy to use app with lots of fast straightforward recipes and oodles of educational videos from Lyndi. Edit - when I upgraded to a year membership I got myself confused about the billing. My email enquiry was answered instantly and everything resolved so promptly. I upgraded because this is a great little package that really covers the essentials of intuitive eating, providing lessons to keep replaying and refreshing myself with as life hits its ups and downs.

I love this app. It's the first thing I've come across that does not mention a thing about weight or looking a certain way and encourages yummy food and movement that makes you feel good! Love the recipes, workouts and mindfulness features. The pregnancy & post partum features are super helpful too. Can't rate it enough!
