Take a century of military engineering apart, and put it back together.

Warforge gives you twenty-one real vehicles, from the Mark IV that crawled across the Somme in 1917 to the nuclear carrier USS Nimitz. You assemble each one piece by piece — engine first, then the running gear, the crew, the ammunition, the armour — and then you open it up and look inside.

▸ ASSEMBLE IT
Drag each part onto the blueprint in the order it was really fitted. Six stages per vehicle, from the powerpack to the last fitting bolted to the turret. Parts from other vehicles are mixed into the tray, so you have to know what you are looking at — a Panzer IV driveshaft and a Spitfire tailplane are not interchangeable, whatever the silhouette suggests.

▸ SEE INSIDE IT
Every vehicle has a full X-ray layer. The engine, the gearbox, every crew position, the ammunition, the fuel, the armour — all colour-coded, all where they really were. Slide the cutaway open and watch a Panzer IV's driveshaft run the whole length of the hull. Then look at a T-34 with its gearbox at the back, and see exactly why it sits thirty centimetres lower on the same suspension travel.

That is the whole idea: not a list of statistics, but the reason one vehicle is shaped differently from another.

▸ READ WHY
Each vehicle comes with the argument behind its shape. Why the Mark IV is a rhomboid with its tracks running over the roof. Why the Spitfire's elliptical wing was worth the misery of building it. Why Yamato's eighteen-inch guns were already obsolete before she fired them in anger. Why an Abrams keeps its ammunition behind a blast door with the roof panels deliberately made the weakest part of the tank.
