The Cognex Barcode Scanners application reads all major barcode symbologies, including Aztec Code, Codabar, Code 11, Code 25 (Interleaved, Industrial, COOP, Matrix and ITF-14), Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Data Matrix, DotCode, EAN, ISBN, GS1 DataBar, MaxiCode, MSI Plessey, PDF417, Micro PDF417, Postal Codes, QR Code (Micro and Standard), TELEPEN and UPC barcode types, as well as GS1 sub-types like GS1 QR Code, GS1 Data Matrix and GS1-128.


The app also provides powerful parsers to examine industry standard formatted barcodes more easily such as AAMVA (US and Canadian Driver’s Licenses), GS1, IUID, Structured Carrier Messages (MaxiCode), and more!

so far so good! excellent, in fact. I have not found a single other Bar Code scanner that has the accuracy of this one. and it always leads you to the product on the Web. And thus far, NO ADS or begging for you to subscribe. this has to be a first in my experience with Android Apps. I'm kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop... like ads.... lol.... but thus far, it's been an EXCELLENT experience !!

Excellent! Very fast at reading both 1-d and 2-d barcodes. Most barcode readers I've seen struggle to read, requiring just the correct lighting or angle, or they force me to look up the information on the web instead of showing me the actual value. This one doesn't struggle at all, but reads quickly, and shows me what the barcode actually says, and gives me the option to web search, share, or copy. In short, it's the first barcode scanner app that does what I expect a barcode scanner to do.

This is an excellent app with a lot of configurations for more advanced uses. I have installed (and the uninstalled) many, many barcode apps and this is probably the best. The ability to parse a GS1 barcode is a great feature. The only option I wish was in the app would be the ability for it to show hidden characters such as start/stop characters, group separators, etc.
