Manga Babel turns Japanese manga pages into an interactive language-learning experience.

Import manga page folders from your Android device, organise them into series and volumes, and read them in a focused mobile reader. When you scan a page, Manga Babel detects the Japanese text and connects each speech bubble to useful language information.

Features include:

• A local-first manga library organised by series and volumes
• Japanese OCR for vertical and horizontal text
• Natural translations displayed alongside or over the original page
• Learning Mode with readings, vocabulary, grammar and kanji details
• Japanese speech generation and page-by-page narration
• Flashcards created from words, kanji and sentences
• Free sample resources for trying the reader without importing files
• Google sign-in so credits and account access work across supported devices

Your imported manga images remain in the app's private local storage. Pages are sent to Manga Babel's online services only when you choose an online processing feature such as scanning or speech generation.

Some online processing features use credits and require an internet connection.

Manga Babel does not include or distribute commercial manga. Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to use any content they import.
