About this game

A blank drawing is mostly potential — the moment before the first color lands, when the whole picture could still go anywhere.

Tint Tales is a coloring book made of hand-drawn pictures. Every shape in every image is waiting for a tap. Pick a color from the full rainbow palette, touch a shape, and it fills. That is the whole interaction. No dragging, no pinching, no pressure sensitivity to calibrate. One tap, one color, done.

The library is organized into five themed sets: animals, adventure, nature, food, and fantasy. Each set has its own character — the animal pages tend toward clean outlines and satisfying large fills, while the fantasy pages reward slower decisions about which shade of purple a dragon's wing deserves. Nature and food sit somewhere between the two: familiar shapes that look different depending on whether you lean warm or cool with your palette. Adventure gives you the widest variety of scenes, good for when you want something new rather than something restful.

The palette covers the full spectrum. Nothing is locked behind a purchase or a daily reward. Every color is available from the first time you open the app.

If a page isn't going the way you hoped, a single reset wipes it back to blank. No penalty, no confirmation screen asking if you're sure. Just a clean start.

A few things the app does not do: it does not run ads, it does not ask you to create an account, and it does not phone home while you work. Every page loads from storage on your device. You can color in a basement, on a flight, or anywhere else a signal doesn't reach, and nothing about the experience changes.

There are no timers. There is no score. No one is waiting on the other end of a notification to tell you that you missed a day. You open it when you want to, put it down when you're done, and the page stays exactly as you left it.

Tint Tales suits anyone who wants something to do with their hands that doesn't require much of their head — or anyone who wants to think carefully about exactly which green belongs in the background of a forest scene. Both uses are equally valid.

The pictures are hand-drawn. That shows. The lines are not perfectly uniform, the shapes have a little character to them, and the finished pages look like something a person made rather than something a program generated. That quality carries through whether you're filling in a bowl of noodles or a castle turret.
