App works great overall! Probably the best overall maps app out there. Only one thing is lacking behind, the search engine, when searching for a place it doesn't work the best. I put in a store name and street name and it doesn't always find it because I didn't type in one missing word. Can we update the search engine to match more with keywords?
By far the best traveling app. While travelling outside the U.S., my standard go-to Google Maps was insufficient as well as Waze and a couple of others Mapquest will now be my go-to app for directions wherever I am.
In the app, I can't access the "my account" to bring up "my maps". Every set of driving directions with multiple stops I saved isn't accessible. I have to go through chrome and enter the web address. It's time consuming and it'd be best if I could access my maps from the app.
Not for me. This lacks a lot of areas for me. Many of the place so I need when I search don't even show that's there when I know those places have been around for years maybe when they get it caught up to my particular area of need I'll use but until then it's useless to me
Great, easy to follow directions, eliminates the need for a separate handheld GPS unit. Fast to correct wrong turns in both list and text-to-speech modes. Predictive when entering never-been-used-before addresses. Very reliable.
Poor interface with current road closures. Search does subpar job of locating businesses by distance or open now, etc. More useful for occasional use by a local rather than a new resident.
Somehow, Lewis and Clark made it without MapQuest. Impressive. Luckily, you can use the app, now with the following impressive features.
• Play audio as a hands-free call (permissions required)
• See the Bluetooth device being used
• Prompts for when we don’t have your current location
• Long-tap shortcuts for Android 7.1 or higher
• Your location icon (in perspective mode) is repositioned to show more of the road ahead
• Now with more bug fixes!
