Ratings and reviews

This app got me through many journeys around the world. Simple, effective and thorough offline maps and directions with no frills. Not always up to date with businesses or transit, but they are very detailed when it comes to navigation, and available when you have no SIM card or cell signal. Unfortunately, they've decided to heavily limit offline map storage and availability, locking it behind a pay wall. I'm sure it still functions fine but it's not the reliable free tool it was for years.

They totally ruined this app during the last year or so. The start and end destination box covers half of the screen hiding your map route and there is no way to get rid of it. Furthermore it only shows one way to go without the option to chose from several different routes. This is better than Google for off road mapping - but the massive faults make it unusable.

An example of how an App has declined steadily over time with each update. This app used to be so good. Simple: map outlines, location finder, type in your route or stop = GO. Now it is convoluted, full of junk getting in the way, bad results showing up, location finder never finds me. Have to find myself with Google Maps then open up Maps Me again so finder knows where I am. This is likely the result of forced commercialization of the App to make money. Shame.
