hmm, my phone apparently has no files... I thankfully can see the top level files, but I downloaded this shortcut hoping to get into one of my banking apps because I think it put statements in its system folder (or they evaporated maybe?) However, every single file is empty. I should have a lot more free space if that's the case. This used to be a reason not to use apple, but now they're all the same. wishing this worked for me. (Pixel 9a, fully updated.)

I just got a new Android 14 phone and the file manager apps I usually use would not grant access to non system folders in internal or SD storage. I would be told to choose the top tier but then it would say "you can't use this folder, create a new folder" and then it denied access to those too. Horrible time trying to figure it out, couldn't, and so looked for an app that would work. THIS ONE WORKS. I am so relieved. Thank you! 🐸

perfect, Perfect, PERFECT ! ! ! No nonsense ads or in-app purchases, just a perfectly functioning app. Based on reading other comments, apparently this app gives you access to the default File Manager on your phone, which for some reason doesn't have a shortcut available on newer versions of Android. This app works just like the default File Manager app with no weird add-ons. Thank you for making this app (shortcut); I can now use my phone the way I want to.
