Contrax is a calm contraction timer for labor. Tap once to start and stop timing contractions; frequency, duration and averages update automatically. When your contractions match a recognizable pattern, like the 5-1-1 rule, an in-app card explains exactly which criteria are met — no pop-ups, no push notifications.

A short contraction guide explains how to time correctly and when to call your midwife or doctor.

Editing a mistimed contraction, deleting a record, and rating intensity are always free. So is sharing a report with your midwife or doctor.

Contrax is free and supported by ads; the timer screen itself never shows ads. Pro (monthly, yearly or lifetime) removes ads and unlocks your full session history, duration/frequency charts and notes for past labors.
