it is a decent app. 2 things are irritation though 1. it jump scrolls, thinking where you want to be, and many times it's guess is wrong. leave the page where it is left with the cursor where it was left. don't think you know better than the person operation the app 2. when opening an app, if one is open, it stays on the previous app and does not open the new one. this is understandable since only one file at a time may be opened at one time. you should notify user, save existing file, open new

I agree a simple .txt file editor is sorely needed, but this isn't it. I opened a .txt file that I created in Windows to edit. The issue described in earlier reviews about randomly moving the focus to the bottom of the text really makes the app unusable, especially since it happened on every line multiple times. Also, to get around the limitations of the on-screen keyboard, I tried to use a bluetooth keyboard. The app did not recognize the tab character at all.

This is a nice text editor. The user interface is not too complicated, and very intuitive. There is just enough flexibility to let the user do a little customizing of the UI. One of the three supported fonts is a monospace font, which is nice. It is limited to plain text, but if you have a Word doc file, or RTF file, there are plenty of other editors that can handle those. This app is great for quick notes that don't require fancy formatting.
