ABOUT MCHIRE

McHire is a recruiting application developed for McDonald’s by Paradox an AI company that believes recruiting is a people game.

Paradox’s flagship product is Olivia, a recruiting assistant obsessed with improving and reinventing the candidate experience.

Olivia helps companies capture and screen candidates, improve conversions, and answer all candidate questions. She delivers one-to-one candidate experience at scale, and even handles interview scheduling.

At Paradox, we see a future where humans do the things they’re best at, and AI technology handles the mundane and simple tasks for us. Technology is a tool for us, and should be used as such.

We never want to remove humans from the recruiting process. We just want to make it better. Our dream is a better candidate and recruiter experience for everyone.

McHire is used in all corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants and restaurants of participating independent franchisees. If you work for a franchisee organization, please check with your franchisee, or the person designated by your franchisee (for example, a General Manager), to determine whether your franchisee has chosen to use McHire.

A mixed bag, needs more safeguards against abuse. I'm currently in between with a couple of free weeks and wanted to do something different. I applied at the local McDonald's. What I have witnessed is disturbing. This app allows a greater degree of separation from hirer to prospective employee and is seemingly sed as a smokescreen to propagate blatant discrimination. Not at me, I got lucky, but after objecting they are pushing me out the door. The store can no longer operate in the vernacular.

Just update again 3/2023. Biew by location was taken away. I dont like having to go through extra steps of filtering just to get to a location. And why did you take unsubscribe away? Just updated again. Now I can't see any questions Olivia asks. She just retype everything the candidate types. It's so frustrating because I am always on the go. It would be nice to have an app that actually works. Loadi g mchire on the desktop at work takes forever. The Cale dar on the app is also horrible.

The app I thought was gonna be amazing however I find it is not living up to the hype. No matter how many times I select remember me it never does, I activate biometrics on my phone it still requires me to sign in and then scan my thumbprint. Sometimes I get notified that I have an applicant coming in for an interview. Every time there is a new version the app stops working won't auto update as selected. Doesn't even tell you there is an issue just stops working. It's almost better to not use it
