About this app
Most cities have pianos sitting out in public, free for anyone to sit down and play. Train stations, parks, airports, shopping centres. Most people walk straight past without knowing they are there.
PianoSpot is a public piano map. It shows the street pianos and station pianos around you, and tells you which ones actually play before you make the walk.
FIND A PIANO NEAR YOU
An interactive piano map and a list view, sorted by how far you would have to walk. Search any city before you travel so you know where to play when you land. Hundreds of pianos are already on the map, plus everything the community adds.
SEE IF IT IS WORTH THE WALK
Anyone who has played a piano can rate its condition, so you know whether you are walking to a well kept upright or one with half the keys gone. Recent reviews come in players own words, and the photos show the real instrument so you recognise it when you get there.
COLLECT YOUR PIANO PASSPORT
Check in when you play and that piano gives you a numbered stamp. Your Passport fills up city by city and country by country, with streaks and achievements as your collection grows.
ADD THE ONES NOBODY HAS FOUND
Drop a pin, give it a name, done. Photos are optional. Duplicate detection keeps the map clean, and every public piano you add helps the next player who walks past it.
EARN AS YOU GO
Adding spots, rating condition and checking in all earn Notes. Level up from Newcomer to Busker, climb the leaderboard, and invite friends to map their own cities.
