About this app

Using Bluetooth on your audio device you can start streaming music straight to your audio processor.

Simply sign in to your myMED-EL account and follow the instructions for pairing AudioLink to your smartphone.

The Audio2Ear app works with MED-EL’s SONNET, SONNET 2, and RONDO 3 audio processors and a valid myMED-EL ID only.

Constant requirement to login, cannot save a login. Requires active data plan(though wifi is fine) to stream from a phone(since you have to login). Currently cannot stream with an up to date pixel 3 Xl. Test sound works but will not stream from apps. Worked a few months ago. Update: so they fixed android 11 after a very long period of time. But now the app introduces a clicking noise while the app is open. Forced to use the dock and an audio cable. Force kill app and it stops the clicks.

you will never answer a phone call with this device,takes too long,difficult,complicated to connect,app hides the function buttons from the phone screen, can't get to Spotify just to push play,no function buttons !. such a struggle to get this stupid streaming device to connect and then can't turn damn device off once connected.Tried using cable device-phone,hours later find the app is still running in secret, not showing? ,that's why cable won't work, terrible app for worse than useless device.

This worked up to a month ago when after an Android 11 security update it gets very quickly disconnected immediately after connecting. It was already bad that for now real reason it requires a login that you cannot save, but now it's fully non functional!
