Seems to solely want me to consume content it has algorithmically delivered to me. Scrolling within an author's history is slow and painful. Returning to their page always returns to top, making me scroll again. No options for changing how material is sorted, or marking items read. Orientation is locked in portrait even though my device isn't. An irritating chore to use. Will probably delete shortly when I run out of patience dealing with an essentially useless reading environment.

Back button navigates you away and you never see the story again, because it will be hidden from your feed. Hope you weren't in the middle of writing a comment! So easy to hit too, your thumb's practically on top of it while reading. Very poor design, a key reason I'm canceling my subscription.

There are some things i love about medium but the fact that it keeps recommending me content "based on my reading history", but completely misses the mark on what I'm actually interested in, is very annoying. There should be an option to remove topics that medium "thinks" i am interested. Not only is the recommendation system inaccurate, people's tastes and interests change and we should be given an option to reflect that in the app.
