About this game

Heartkeep is a block survival craft game with a real night. By day you build. By night, the siege comes for the wall you built.

At the center of your world stands the Heart of the base. While it beats, you survive. Every night is longer and meaner than the last: a lone Rot at the gate at first, and by the seventh night a Night Warden leading the siege. Twenty-one nights to victory — then a harder cycle begins.

BUILD AND MINE
• Block survival world with biomes: meadows, sands, snowfields, cliffs
• 400+ block types: stone, planks, brick, glass, roof tile, steel, furniture
• Pickaxe, axe, shovel across four tiers, wood to steel
• Place and break anything: vaults, mines, bridges, towers

CRAFT AND PREPARE FOR THE NIGHT
• Craft spikes, barricades and a ballista — survival defense is built early or not at all
• Monsters chew through walls: a box around your base buys time, not safety
• Three armor tiers, bow and crossbow, leather flasks: dash, regen, stoneskin
• Upgrade the Heart with essence from the fallen

A SURVIVAL WORLD THAT LIVES
• Day and night, rain and snow, drifting clouds
• Boars and hens in the fields: meat, leather, feathers
• Berry bushes and a furnace: juice, stew, baked berries
• Fishing: cast, wait for the bite, hook it — then fry the catch
• Boat and minecart: launch it on water or lay rails and roll
• Villages with people: every few days a caravan arrives and trades goods for goods
