Privacy
CustomKey Keyboard takes your privacy very seriously and does not collect what you type and transmit them to cloud servers. Anything you type (credit card numbers, passwords, login id, text messages, phone numbers, etc.) stays on your phone and is not transmitted to servers for analysis or shared with third party businesses.

CustomKey Keyboard does not install additional applications such as app screen locker, battery saver app, or other miscellaneous apps that you do not want.

Ratings and reviews

Functionally the application is mostly fine albeit the auto correction leaves a bit to be desired. Kind of disappointing as well that an that calls itself custom doesn't have more themes or the ability to create them. Yes you can customize the secondary functions of the letters and for some that may be useful. Just would be nice to have more customization options. An amoled black theme perhaps?

I LOVELOVELOVE this keyboard app! It is the ONLY one that lets you specify your long-press alts for each key. I emailed the developer and got a prompt, polite reply! Still, I'll list the few tweeks that could help this app be the best version of itself: +add a long-press-and-hold pop-up menu for accented versions of letters +the autocorrect algorithm could use an intuitive upgrade +with the latest update, my emojis all defaulted to male (🤦). Still my fave though!

So this app worked great for awhile but has stopped working for some reason. the keyboard no longer displays my custom keys and rather the default ones. The settings in the app remain the same so I dont really understand why my custom keys are gone.
