PSA - The Professional Service Association, is a group of Independent Appliance Service companies that come together for the purpose of working together to improve industry conditions for all involved. About Us This organization was formed during a time of huge market changes, economic pressures, and corporate dictates and decisions that caused heavy financial burdens on the independent appliance service industry. More specifically, targeting the small to medium sized service companies that really had no voice or leverage to negotiate their positions. Out of those frustrations was born the idea of an organization that could be "The Voice of The Independent Service Industry". This idea started in 1988 with the efforts of one amazing man, Ron Sawyer. He decided it was long past the time of doing nothing and sent an invitation to a group of service companies to get together and discuss some of the issues that we were all experiencing. That first meeting sparked a movement of a group of people who formed an ad-hoc committee that eventually created "The Professional Service Association". Through the efforts of both Ron and many hardworking volunteers, PSA currently offers a host of member benefits which includes:
