Honestly the worst experience with a light strip EVER! The packaging looks nice at first. And the tape on the back sticks well. But the whole point is to control with your phone and be all wireless. The problem is, the app doesn't connect to the wifi. It's funny cause I have fiber internet and still can't connect. Also their website is sketchy so stay away from it. At this point, don't buy the product at all and if you have, stop what you're doing and return it.

I've been seeing an issue regarding connectivity with the app and I can safely say I've SOLVED this problem! Due to the nature of this app being relatively "cheap", there are kinks to be fixed. [The product itself isn't the problem] Download the "Smart Life" app and connect your products there. Your product type should be in the categories. This is basically a skin of that app, but worse. So download that instead, I was surprised and its way easier to connect.

I bought the Meridian Smart Wi-Fi multicolor strip light because it used only 1 amp with a USB plug so I can plug it into my TV and not have another cord hanging. Setup was pretty straight forward, and had less connection issues than other brands, but I have to say, this is as cheap and generic of an app as you get. White light settings are virtually non-existent and the color replication is mediocre at best. It's $14- so know going in this is a cheap, generic light and that's all you're getting
