Auros is a free severe-weather app for people who actually watch the sky.

It reads straight from the source: the National Weather Service, the Storm Prediction Center, the National Hurricane Center, and raw NEXRAD radar, all in a fast, clean app. No ads, no upsells, and no account required to start.

What you get:

Severe alerts the moment they post. Live NWS watches and warnings for every place you save, with a full-screen alert and an attention tone when a tornado or severe warning is issued.

Pro-grade radar. Base and storm-relative velocity, correlation coefficient, ZDR, KDP, hydrometeor classification, multiple tilts, and a smooth time loop, plus the national reflectivity mosaic and live warning polygons.

Storm outlooks. Storm Prediction Center risk for the next three days, color-coded on your home screen.

Tropical tracking. Active hurricanes and tropical systems from the National Hurricane Center, with the forecast cone, track, category, and distance from you.

A weather-radio finder. Every NWS transmitter in the country, ranked by the signal you will actually get, so you know the best channel for your area.

Optional accounts. Sign in to sync your locations across devices, or skip it and run fully local.
