About this app

Fast Flashlight is a practical lighting tool with an optional Android home screen experience. Turn on your phone’s LED flashlight with one tap, adjust the brightness on supported devices, or use your screen as a soft light in any color.

FAST AND EASY FLASHLIGHT

Use the large power button to turn the LED flashlight on or off instantly. Adjust the light intensity from 0% to 100% when supported by your device, with clear battery and temperature information visible on the main screen.

FULL-COLOR SCREEN LIGHT

Turn your display into a soft ambient light when an LED flashlight is too strong. Choose any color with the full-color picker, adjust screen brightness, and move between cool and warm color temperatures. It is useful for reading, photography, bedside lighting and low-light situations.

SOS SIGNAL

Use the international SOS Morse rhythm with either the camera LED or the screen light:

Starting SOS requires a deliberate press-and-hold action to help prevent accidental activation. A clear stop control is always available while the signal is running.

The SOS light is a visual signaling tool only. It does not contact emergency services or guarantee that help will arrive. Flashing lights may affect people who are sensitive to light.

AUTO-OFF TIMER

Set the flashlight to turn off automatically after 1, 5, 10 or 30 minutes, or choose a custom duration from 1 to 120 minutes. View the remaining time, replace the active timer or cancel it at any time.

BUILT-IN COMPASS

Check your current direction without leaving the flashlight screen. The built-in compass provides quick orientation when supported by your device’s sensors.

SMART PROTECTION

Fast Flashlight includes practical protection options:

• Overheat protection based on battery temperature
• Low-battery alerts
• Automatic shut-off timer
• Optional haptic feedback
• Optional operation after the screen is locked
• Flashing-light safety information

OPTIONAL LAUNCHER MODE

Fast Flashlight can also work as an optional Android home screen launcher. If you choose to set it as your default Home app, you can:

• Swipe right for quick flashlight access
• Swipe up to view all installed apps
• Search and launch apps
• Use app shortcuts and long-press menus
• Add supported Android widgets
• Access phone, messages, camera and browser shortcuts from the dock

Launcher mode changes the layout of your Android home screen while it is selected as the default Home app. It does not remove your installed apps. You can restore your previous system launcher at any time from Android’s default Home app settings.

If you do not select Fast Flashlight as your default launcher, you can continue using it as a regular standalone flashlight app.

PERMISSIONS

Camera permission is used only to control the device’s LED flash. Notification and foreground-service permissions may be used when the flashlight needs to remain active in the background or after the screen is locked. Available functions may vary depending on your device hardware and Android version.

Fast Flashlight combines an LED torch, full-color screen light, SOS signal, timer, compass and optional launcher in one clean and easy-to-use app.
