Ratings and reviews

It was a great app. Then they decided they should be more like Facebook. They appear to be trying to connect everyone everywhere. Private profiles were broadcast to every scammer on the site. And every time they update, something goes wrong and they don't seem to care that privacy protections just vanish. The people I'm connected with are already exchanging other ways of staying connected for when we finally get sick of the hogwash and delete this once safe space.

*Update* They have fixed several bugs and its conciderably better now. POS app. No customer service of any kind. Can't contact anyone for help if you need it. It's extremely buggy to boot. I can't change any of my login info at all. Every time I try it says something like an error has occured or email invalid when I try to add one. So if you lose your password or login info your screwed.

It's a shame that MeWe seems to be following the same path as Google+ did before that app was shut down. Also, the new Wallet feature just made the app even less safe, as hackers can use it to access your account. With this most recent update making it so we have to purchase their premium plan to do stuff like DM other people and get access to things that were previously free, I may have to seriously start considering a jump to other platforms to keep connecting with friends.

What’s new

You can now see when your chat contacts are around — presence status is here in Chats. Sharing a group just got easier with a new Share icon and an expanded share sheet. We also refreshed the Marketplace tabs, tidied up the post UI, and fixed a stack of smaller issues across chats, groups, and the Watch Feed.
