UI Quiz is a UI learning app that teaches you about user-friendliness not just by "looking," but by "actually interacting" with different screens.

Many UI elements are difficult to judge simply by looking at still images or screenshots. You only truly understand their usability when you actually interact with them—by typing, submitting, and sometimes even failing. For example, a form where error messages appear far from the input field. Even if it looks neat, you immediately realize how difficult it is to fix when you accidentally submit it. The way you input dates, how passwords are displayed, the wording of confirmation dialogs, input fields hidden by the keyboard—these are all things where the differences become apparent only through interaction. UI Quiz is designed to let you experience these "differences that you can only understand by interacting."

The gameplay is simple.

You interact with two UI elements (A and B) displayed on the screen using your fingers. Press buttons, fill out forms, try to create errors—interact with them first, then think.

Judge which is easier to use and answer. After answering, you'll see an explanation of why your answer is correct. The explanation follows a step-by-step structure: "Conclusion → Key Points → Problem → What Happens to the User → Improvement Methods → Points to Check in Practice." This allows you to quickly grasp the essentials or delve deeper into the topic.

This resource includes 50 questions covering 8 areas frequently encountered in practice, from beginner to advanced levels: form input, error display, button design, screen transitions (navigation), information architecture, accessibility, mobile-specific operations, and error prevention/deletion. The questions primarily focus on "comparing two actions," but also include multiple formats such as "finding the problem area on a single screen," "completing instructed operations," and "selecting the optimal improvement." Correct answers are not based on the creator's preference, but only those that can be explained using general UI principles. As the difficulty increases, your ability to spot problems that only appear through operation—problems not apparent from still images—is tested.
