Really doesn't track the time on the Xbox well. Seems to often be 15 minutes behind. Has very little ability to be nuanced about timings. So no date based times (no 'holiday mode' you have to change the whole week. No ability to have, say, 2 hours but only after 4 and before 8. So it does the basics and not much more.

I like the app, it's great to have the parental controls, especially the time limits and cut off times. I do wish it was easier to add a custom time or just change the time for that day without changing the entire schedule. My kid sends me a request for additional time and I get a request through this app AND Microsoft Family Safety app. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I could not be happier with how easy it is to maneuver this app. I can get notifications when my kids' time is up and decide if he can have more time all from my phone. I like how it kicks them off once the time limit has been reached, and I haven't granted more time. This is completely different compared to the Nintendo switch, where they're able to continue to play past the alotted time. Recommend to parents who try and limit screen time.
