About this app

Moon 3D allows you to explore the entire surface of the Moon at high resolution with ease. To see the landing sites of the American landers, or to take a closer look at the main craters and plains of the Moon, just tap on the left side menu and you will be instantly teleported to the respective coordinates. Another tap on the central panel and you can see a real image of the selected lander and find out more details about its mission. Gallery, Moon data, Resources, Rotation, Pan, Zoom In and Out, are just a few of this application pages and features.

Imagine you are traveling in a fast spaceship that can orbit the Moon, looking directly at its surface and seeing some of its well-known formations, such as Tycho crater and Mare Serenitatis.

well it's better than any other available map online or in an app because I can actually find 0⁰ latitude, by 0⁰ longitude only because it's a low resolution static image with an overlay of a gross latitude and longitude lines other systems show you what latitude and longitude. not even NASA can manage to come up with a navigable lunar map. thank you for at least showing me the one location on the moon that I was looking for Google can't do it.

I would be a much better app if it could be directly installed in the PC.
