About this app

Work Hours Log is a simple work hours tracker for hourly and shift work. Tap once to clock in, tap once to clock out, and the day's timesheet is done.
Weekly and monthly totals add up on their own: hours worked, days worked, and an estimated amount based on the hourly rate you enter.
Breaks are deducted, shifts that run past midnight are counted correctly, and what you record stays on your phone.

📝 One tap in, one tap out
• A single big button on the Today screen: it says Clock in, then it says Clock out
• A session in progress shows its elapsed time while it runs
• Forgot to clock out? Fix the record later instead of losing the shift

📋 Records you can correct
• Every shift listed by date, one month at a time
• Tap a row to edit the date, start time, end time, break minutes and memo
• Add a past shift by hand when you forgot to tap the button
• A shift from 22:00 to 06:00 counts as eight hours, not a negative one

📊 Weekly and monthly totals
• Switch between the weekly and the monthly view, and step through past periods
• Total hours worked, days worked and estimated pay for the period
• A shift still running is left out of the total, and the screen says so
• Set a pay period start day so monthly totals match your pay cycle

💵 Estimated pay from your hourly rate
Enter your hourly rate once and every total comes with the amount those hours add up to, in the currency you choose, formatted the way your region writes money. This is a personal estimate: hours multiplied by your rate, nothing more.

🔒 No permissions, no account
Work Hours Log asks for no Android permissions: no storage, no location, no contacts, no notifications. Your records live in a database on the phone and are never sent to any server of ours. There is no sign-in, no account and no sync between devices. Android's own automatic backup stays enabled, so your records can return when you set up a new phone.

The free version includes everything above and is supported by a small banner and an occasional full-screen ad. Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: it removes the ads and unlocks export. Export builds a spreadsheet-ready table of every record (date, start, end, break minutes, worked minutes, pay, memo), shows a preview and copies it to the clipboard, ready to paste into a spreadsheet, note or email.
