About this app

Connect your MIDI keyboard, choose a sound, and play. SynthBridge turns your phone or tablet into a portable sound module and practice workspace. You can also start with the on-screen piano and drum pads.

Your sounds: use the built-in library or import SF2/SF3 SoundFonts. Layer sounds and adjust their balance, effects and keyboard ranges.

Your keyboard: connect compatible USB MIDI or Bluetooth MIDI devices. Control supported parameters with MIDI CC messages.

Your practice: play MIDI files, follow the note visualization, and combine a metronome, loops and Style accompaniment.

Your ideas: record MIDI performances, keep named drafts, preview takes and export MIDI files. MIDI files can also be converted to WAV or AAC audio.

Your setup: save performance scenes and return to your sounds and playing settings. Use portrait or landscape layouts on phones and tablets.

I am raising my rating of this app to five stars. at only 4.99 for the pro version it is a wonderful bargain and reliably does things I have been unable to find in any other app of the sort. I mentioned a problem that I had with the new interface and the developer immediately responded with the information that I needed. that is why I am raising my rating from four stars to five.

Thank you for the app. This is exactly what I am looking for. There is however 1 suggestion. Can you make the velocity curve (or volume) for midi out. I had a Yamaha Disklavier which I use the app midi output to control the real acoustic grand piano (Yamaha C5). The velocity (volume) from the app cannot be controlled thus the voice is way too loud. Thank you.
