About this app

MijnHuis (My House) is your digital home file. Everything that belongs to your house — warranties, maintenance, documents, meter readings, contents, renovations and insurance — kept in one place instead of scattered across folders, mailboxes and receipts in a kitchen drawer.

YOUR WHOLE HOUSE IN ONE APP

- Home and rooms — record your home with address, type, build year, floor area and energy label, and split it into rooms. Everything you add can be linked to the right room.
- Warranties — store the receipt or warranty certificate with a photo and see at a glance what is active, what expires soon and what has expired.
- Maintenance — plan recurring jobs such as the boiler, gutters and filters. Log every time you do them with date, cost and a note, so you build up a maintenance history with total costs.
- Document vault — policies, mortgage, deeds, inspections and contracts with validity dates. Link each document to the warranty, job, meter, room, renovation or policy it belongs to.
- Meter readings — electricity, gas, water and solar, with a single register or separate day and night registers, plus injection for what you feed back. Your usage per period is calculated automatically and shown in a chart.
- Inventory — your household contents per room, with purchase date and value. A clear overview of what you own and what it is worth.
- Renovation projects — plan your works with dates, budget, contractor, rooms and tasks. You immediately see how much has been spent and what is left.
- Insurance — policies with insurer, policy number, renewal date and premium, plus claims with status, amount claimed and received, and the damaged items from your inventory.
- Contacts — enter your regular installer, shop, contractor or insurer once and reuse them everywhere in the app.

AN OVERVIEW THAT THINKS ALONG

- Needs attention — the home screen gathers everything that expires soon, is overdue or is coming up.
- Search — one search box covers your whole file: warranties, jobs, documents, meters, contents, renovations, insurance, contacts, rooms and homes.
- Reminders — a heads-up before a warranty or document expires, for a planned or overdue job, before a policy renews and at the deadline of a renovation task. They run locally on your device and you decide per type whether you want them.

FOUR LANGUAGES

MijnHuis speaks Dutch, English, French and German. You pick the language inside the app, independently of your device language.

PRIVACY

Your data is stored on servers in the EU (Paris) and is accessible only to you. No ads, no tracking, no selling of your data. You can permanently delete your account with all its data straight from the app — free, also without Plus. Would you like a copy of your data? Request it at [e-mail] and you will receive it within 30 days.

Plus removes the limits: unlimited homes, rooms, warranties, jobs, documents, inventory, contacts, meters, policies and attachments. Plus also unlocks the renovation module: plan your works with budget, contractor, rooms and tasks, and see straight away what has been spent and what is left.
