About this app

Age & Date Calculator answers the four date questions that come up most often —
and it does all of it on your phone, with no internet connection required.

AGE CALCULATOR
Enter a date of birth and see the exact age in years, months and days. The same
age is also shown in total months, weeks, days, hours and minutes. You get the
day of the week the person was born, their star sign and Chinese zodiac, and a
countdown to the next birthday with the age they will be turning.

You can also work out an age as of any date, not just today — useful for forms,
school admissions, visa applications and eligibility checks.

DATE DIFFERENCE
Pick any two dates and see the gap between them as years, months and days, plus
the totals in days, weeks, whole months and hours. Choose whether both end dates
are counted.

WORKING DAYS
The difference screen also counts working days between the two dates, and you
can set which days of the week count as working days — Monday to Friday,
Saturday to Thursday, a four-day week, or anything else. Handy for project
deadlines, notice periods and leave planning.

ADD OR SUBTRACT DATES
Start from any date and add or subtract years, months, weeks and days to find
the resulting date, with one-tap presets for +7 days, +30 days, +90 days,
+6 months and +1 year. Month arithmetic is handled properly: 31 January plus one
month gives 28 or 29 February, never a date that does not exist.

COUNTDOWNS
Pin the dates you care about — birthdays, anniversaries, exams, due dates,
travel — and see at a glance how many days are left. Yearly events roll forward
to the next anniversary automatically and show the number the person or occasion
is turning. Swipe to delete, with undo.

BUILT TO BE ACCURATE
Every difference is counted in whole calendar days, so the time of day never
changes a result and daylight saving cannot shift an answer by a day. Leap years
are handled correctly, and a 29 February anniversary is shown on 28 February in
years that do not have one.

COMPLETELY OFFLINE, COMPLETELY PRIVATE
There is no internet permission in this app. No accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no
analytics and no trackers. Nothing you enter leaves your device, because the app
has no way to send it anywhere. The countdowns you save live in the app's own
private storage and are removed when you uninstall.

A small download, no background services, no notifications and no battery drain.
Light and dark themes, and it follows your system theme by default.
