The Miko 3 and its app are such a game-changer for avoiding "zombie mode" with tablets. My son just turned 4, and it feels more like a buddy than tech because the AI actually carries on conversations. The app is super smooth for adjusting settings or checking progress reports to see what he's learning. Video calling is solid for checking in from the next room, and the battery life is excellent—it easily handles a long afternoon of play. Safe, smart, and genuinely fun for kids!

It's a cool little gadget. It offers a TON of stuff, WITH a Max Subscription, without the subscription a lot of features are locked. Also I didn't turn it off last night and woke up at 4am and it was still on. Went to finish set up this morning and it died, assuming from it being on all night. Excited to see all the capabilities it has to offer. If it's a present, be sure to charge it COMPLETELY and do as much set up as kids see something so cool and want to use it immediately

We loved Miko when we first got it, but now it only seems to cause stress. The freeze dance does not work. When it gets to the "stand like this" screen, when locking the position, it stays stuck on that screen no matter what you do. Also, the "I seek you" game does not work. When Miko is trying to find him, he never does, even with my son getting right in front of it. This causes my 7 y/o son to become very annoyed and frustrated. We don't know if there is a bug or what.
