The "Oberhausener Tafel" information app
The "Oberhausener Tafel" saves food and distributes it to people in need. This app summarises all the important information for customers, people in need and employees and also allows them to search for important terms. It contains up-to-date content in 28 different languages. Two of these can be selected, in which you can then also search.
For bilingual entries, the speech bubble button can be used to display the native language and the foreign language at the same time (see screenshot "Registration"), which facilitates dialogue with customers who speak a different native language.
If there are any changes to serving times or organisational measures at short notice, the app will inform you of this with notifications on the device. The app contains all content when it is first installed. Subsequent updates can be up to 250MB in size, so we recommend downloading the updates & content via Wi-Fi/WLAN only.
