A sudoku built around its hint system. When you ask for help, the hint explains the reasoning behind the move instead of simply filling in the square for you.

A HINT SYSTEM THAT EXPLAINS ITSELF

Tap the hint button and the engine reads your current board, works out which solving method applies to the position in front of you, and highlights the row, column or block involved while it explains the reasoning in plain language. You see where the number comes from, not just what it is.

A guided lesson section covers solving methods from the basic patterns through to more advanced approaches, each explained with worked examples on a real board. Go through it at your own pace. Everything lives inside the app — no sign-up, no video lessons to watch.

FOUR DIFFICULTY LEVELS

Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Every puzzle is checked during generation and kept only if it has exactly one solution, so you are never working towards an ambiguous board.

Puzzles are prepared in the background and kept ready, so starting a game normally takes you straight to the board.

PLAY WITHOUT A CONNECTION

The puzzles, the hint engine and the lesson content all live on your device, so the game itself works on a flight, on the underground, or anywhere the signal drops.

STATISTICS THAT TELL YOU SOMETHING

Your best time for each difficulty, win rate, solving speed, current streak, longest streak, and a weekly activity overview. Watch your Expert times come down over the months. Your game statistics are stored on your device.

BOARD AIDS YOU CONTROL

Every reading aid can be switched on or off in settings, so the board shows exactly as much as you want it to and no more:

• Highlight the row, column and block of the square you are on
• Highlight every square holding the same number you have selected
• Show how many of each digit are still left to place
• Note mode for pencil marks, with undo behind it
• A mistake limit, with a second chance when you need it

Turn them all off and you get a bare grid. Turn them all on and the board does the bookkeeping while you do the thinking.
