Mobile Digital Prescription is the official app of the Costa Rican Ministry of Health, designed for healthcare professionals authorized to prescribe medical prescriptions digitally from their mobile devices.

This version expands the functionality of the Digital Prescription System, facilitating mobile prescriptions for medications under the control and supervision of the Costa Rican Ministry of Health in a secure, agile, and reliable manner.
With this tool, physicians will be able to:

* Generate electronic prescriptions from anywhere, optimizing their time and
eliminating the need for paperwork or prescribing from the office.
* Access the patient's profile, allowing them to view their clinical information and prescriptions previously recorded by the physician.
* Fully comply with government regulations, using an app that complies with current regulations for the digital prescription of controlled medications.

What is required to register for the app?
* Be an authorized healthcare professional: Only healthcare professionals (doctors, dentists, or pharmacists) who are registered and active with both their Professional Association and the Costa Rican Ministry of Health's Digital Prescription System can use the Digital Prescription app.

* Have valid credentials: Access is via the same username and password that the professional uses on the Digital Prescription Web platform, along with mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA).

* Enablement verification: During login, the app validates your status with your Professional Association in real time and confirms your registration in the Digital Prescription System to ensure you are authorized to issue prescriptions.
