Minute Cryptic began as a social media project with one clue a day and a short video explaining it. When our community asked for a game, we built one.

Now, with the Minute Cryptic app, you get one handcrafted clue each day, drawn from community feedback, playtested with solvers, and paired with a bite-sized video explanation.

You can adjust the difficulty with hints or letter reveals, and track your stats as you build confidence and skill.

I just discovered this through an Instagram post and I REALLY love it. The hint system is set up really well - the guy I saw solving it in the post made sense when he laid out his thinking, but I couldn't quite manage the same, so seeing a similar breakdown of the process makes me feel like I can develop that skill with time too! I'm glad I didn't have to just start revealing letters. Great stuff, and I look forward to more!

I absolutely love this app and you deserve 5 stars. However... you can only access all the puzzles with a membership, which is not offered in any way? Like, why make it impossible to find how to get a membership? It should that when you click for members - that you learn how to become a member. Secondly, there is a button "contact us" in the down right corner, that doesnt work. I think your community would love to give feedback and be able to contact you. (instead of here)

It's good but the membership is insane. £70/year is 3x what I pay for an app that publishes daily Japanese stories with per word translation and nuance notes while this is largely crowd sourced puzzles. I don't mind a one-off £7/mo taster but the yearly rate should not be as much as I pay for Crunchyroll!! You can buy entire good-quality games on Steam for less than what they want per month. It's difficult to understand the justification for it, similar services are £2/mo.
