About this app

We all have someone we "haven't called in ages". A friend who slowly drifted away, a relative you meant to talk to more, a work contact who goes cold without you noticing. It's almost never a lack of interest: there's just nothing to remind you.

Friendly Contact Reminder is that reminder. You choose who you want to keep close and how often. The app takes care of the rest.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Import the people you want to stay in touch with from your address book.
2. Decide how often: a week, a month, three months… whatever makes sense for each person.
3. Get the reminder when it's due and call or write straight from the notification.
4. Log the conversation and the cycle starts over.

REMINDERS THAT ADAPT TO YOU

• Your own frequency for each person, in days, weeks or months.
• Fixed dates: birthdays and anniversaries from your address book, or the ones you add yourself.
• One-off dates, or dates that come back every year.
• Option to avoid weekends.
• Choose the time you get reminded, with a different one for weekdays and weekends.
• If you don't act on a reminder, it keeps nudging instead of disappearing.
• Every reminder tells you how many days it has been waiting.

ACT IN ONE TAP

• Call or open WhatsApp straight from the notification, without opening the app.
• Pick your favorite messaging app: WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber, SMS, WeChat or LINE.
• Send an email to any of that person's addresses.
• Can't do it right now? Snooze the reminder and it comes back tomorrow.

KEEP TRACK OF THE RELATIONSHIP

• Log every conversation: call, message or in person.
• Jot down what you talked about and reach the next one knowing where you left off.
• Look up the full history of each person.
• Log several people at once when you get back from a lunch or an event.
• Add labels (family, work, college…) and filter your list.

YOUR MONTH AT A GLANCE

• Monthly calendar with what's coming: who you need to write to and which special dates are close.
• Tap a day and see who you talked to and what about.
• Home screen with what's due today and what comes next.

• Save a backup with your reminders, your history and your labels.
• Restore it whenever you want, including on a new phone: your contacts find each other again.
• The backup is your file, and you keep it wherever you decide.

BUILT TO RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY

Your address book is one of the most personal things on your phone. An app that reads it should prove it deserves to:

• Your contacts NEVER leave your phone. We don't receive them and we can't see them.
• No account, no sign-up. There is nothing to log in to.
• No ads and no advertising trackers.
• Your reminders, notes and history are stored on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app, unless you have saved a backup.
