Ratings and reviews

Just purchased 8 of the ambient lamps. The lights are quite nice, and the app is fine. However, the app only allows you to control lights as a group, based upon which room they are in. The app would be much improved if you could control the color and brightness of each light individually. You can do this through the Alexa integration, but only for real time changes; you cannot program a different brightness/color for an individual light that works in the app. Also - black lamps are needed.

2 major flaws making this a usability & privacy nightmare; firstly, your WiFi network name must be publicly broadcasting in order to connect as there's no way to manually enter a network name on the connections page. All you can do is open a list of networks broadcasting their names. Second, you cannot bypass enabling GPS location and allowing the app to access your location. This is stated by the app to be for the daylight cycle tracking so just ask the user for their ZIP code?? Awful

Was having issues connecting one of the lights. I was skeptical about using the DM service but they were extremely helpful and we switched out the lights. They've been updating the app to make changes so it seems they are listening to feedback. I'm a big fan of the actual lights themselves as well. I like that we can set schedules. Set it and forget it.
