Repayment period: 105-282 days
Interest rate (monthly): 5.6-9.1%
Interest rate (annual/APR): 67-109%

No fees, no late penalties.

Example: Borrow Ksh 7,000 with a total interest amount of Ksh 3,320 to be repaid over 258 days. The principal amount to be repaid is Ksh 7,000, and the interest amount to be repaid is Ksh 3,320. The interest amount is fixed and won't increase even if the customer's payments are behind schedule or if the customer takes more than 258 days to pay. There are no fees or late penalties charged -- the interest amount is the only cost of the loan.

it's a beautiful app, so I thought at the beginning when I finished paying for my Samsung A06 and subsequently finished paying for a cash loan I collected but after I took another cash loan and decided to pay off ontime so I can get another one, the app completely wouldn't give me any offers again. So sad and annoying right now when you're hoping on something and it failed you afterwards.

The app can be reliable at times, and can be annoying other times. I have been paying off my loans and applying fore more..but currently, the system declined the loan offer instead gave offers for smartphones. Technically, how do you offer phones while someone has another?

My name is Dennis Karanja. I paid my M-KOPA loan 100% on time until completion. When I need a cash loan, you keep saying "the system is automated" and "keep checking the app". Which system punishes a loyal customer who never defaulted? No clear criteria, only automated replies, if loyal mean nothing, then mkopa not helping hustler, ur using us, very disappointed
