The Solventum Mobile Microphone is a mobile application that allows clinicians to dictate using the Solventum Fluency Direct Desktop Application without the need for a physical microphone attached to the PC. Once the mobile application is paired one time with a Solventum Fluency Direct User ID, the user of the application can dictate using Solventum Fluency Direct running on any physical desktop or virtual device without a need for docking, Bluetooth or physical connections. The application uses secure data transmission to stream audio from the mobile device directly to Solventum Fluency Direct running elsewhere. It builds on the same cloud-based Solventum Speech Understanding (tm) technology powering all Solventum solutions, so existing clinician voice profiles can be used easily and instantly for optimal accuracy.

This app worked well before but now it constantly crashes and won't open. Please fix this ASAP as it is needed to work efficiently. No response from the team but followed the advice of someone else who reviewed this and cleared the cache and data and was able to relink the microphone to the computer; it works again! Just FYI for any others who might run into the same issues!

My app crashed, I emailed the support and they came right back to me. Go to settings on your android device, then Apps, search for the microphone app, then Storage, then clear the cache and the data. Then, run the app again. If it still doesn't work, the storage can be deleted. No need to reinstall the app. Worked for me!

To resolve crashing issue: settings --> apps --> find Microphone app --> storage --> clear cache AND clear data. After doing that, the app worked again. If that doesn't work, can apparently also try to follow the above, but also delete the "storage." Background: Briefly had an issue where it crashed every time it was opened in Jan. 2025, which it seems many other customers were also experiencing. Contacted customer support and got a quick response that resolved the issue.
