About this game
Callbreak (Call Break) is the four-player trick-taking card game of Nepal, India and Bangladesh. Play it fully offline against three computer players — no account, no sign-up. Call your tricks, take them, and break everyone else's call.
♠ WHY PLAY THIS CALL BREAK • Offline play — no internet needed for any match • 4 difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert • 5 rule sets: Modern Standard, Nepal Traditional, Classic, Lite / Quick and Hybrid • Your match length: 5 to 20 rounds, or race to 20, 30 or 50 points • Play in English, नेपाली, हिन्दी, বাংলা or اردو • Fair shuffle — every deal comes from a random seed set before anyone bids, shown at match end • The bots see only their own cards: no peeking, no rigged hands • Leave mid-match and resume it later
♠ HOW TO PLAY CALL BREAK (LAKADI) • 4 players, one 52-card deck, 13 cards each. Spades are always trump, and the Ace of Spades is the highest card. • Call: study your hand and bid how many tricks you will win. • Play: follow the suit that was led, and beat the highest card on the table if you can. • Can't follow suit? Trump with a spade that can win the trick. If none of your spades can win, play any card. • Score: make your call to score it, plus 0.1 for each extra trick — call 4, win 5, score 4.1. Miss it and you lose your whole call — call 4, win 3, score −4. • Highest total after the last round wins. • A deal where any player holds no spade is redealt automatically.
♠ FIVE WAYS TO PLAY • Modern Standard — calls 1 to 13, plus 0.1 for every extra trick. The default. • Nepal Traditional — no spade lead on trick one; redeal if a hand has no card above 10 or the four calls total under 8. • Classic — calls 2 to 12, no spade lead on trick one, win exactly your call or one more; a made call of 8+ scores 13. • Lite / Quick — calls 1 to 8, flat scoring, and Super 8: call 8, take 8, win the match on the spot. • Hybrid — calls 2 to 12, extra tricks add 0.1; a made call of 8+ scores 13.
