About this app

**Mobile Lab** gives you professional-grade RF diagnostics on your Android phone — no external hardware required.

**Signal dashboard**
See your live serving cell KPIs at a glance: RSRP (signal strength), RSRQ (signal quality), SINR (noise ratio) and a composite 0–100 health score. A colour-coded gauge and network badge tell you instantly whether you're on 5G NR, LTE, or 3G and how good the connection really is.

**Call quality log**
Every completed call is graded A to D based on the signal readings captured during the call. Dropped calls are automatically flagged. Review your call history to understand which locations or times of day cause poor calls.

**Overview & smart fixes**
One-tap fixes for common signal problems. See your weekly signal history and saved locations compared against your current signal.

**Speed test**
Multi-threaded HTTP speed test measuring download, upload and latency. Results are saved with the signal conditions at the time of the test.

**Indoor mapper**
Walk around your home, office or warehouse and tap to record signal readings at each spot. The app interpolates a colour heat-map over your floor plan so you can see exactly where dead zones are.

**Drive test**
Attach your phone to your car and drive. Mobile Lab logs signal strength against GPS coordinates and draws a colour-coded polyline on the map so you can see signal coverage across any route. Includes address search biased to your current location.

**Dual SIM support**
Switch between SIMs to compare signal quality from different carriers side by side.

Designed for Android 10+. No account required. No data sent to third-party servers. Cell lookups use the open OpenCelliD database.

**Privacy & permissions**
- Removed `READ_CALL_LOG` and `READ_PHONE_NUMBERS` permissions — no longer requested or needed
- Call direction (incoming/outgoing) now determined from phone state broadcast sequence, not the call log
- Onboarding permission screen now lists two permissions (Phone State + Location) instead of three
