About this app

Mobile Lab gives you professional-grade RF signal diagnostics and network monitoring on your Android phone — no external hardware required.

🔒 No account required. No data collected. No data sent to third-party servers — ever. Cell tower lookups use the open-source OpenCelliD database. Works fully offline after first map tile load.

Live 5G & LTE Signal Dashboard
See your serving cell KPIs in real time: RSRP (signal strength), RSRQ (signal quality), SINR (noise ratio) and a composite 0–100 health score. A colour-coded gauge and network badge tell you instantly whether you're on 5G NR, 4G LTE, or 3G — and how good the connection really is. Includes frequency band, PCI, EARFCN, carrier aggregation, VoLTE and timing advance.

Drive Test & Coverage Map
Attach your phone to your car and drive. Mobile Lab logs LTE signal strength against GPS coordinates and draws a colour-coded polyline on the map so you can visualise network coverage across any route — the same RF drive test workflow used by network engineers, right on your handset.

Indoor Dead-Zone Mapper
Walk around your home, office or warehouse and tap to record signal readings at each spot. Mobile Lab interpolates a colour heat-map over your floor plan so you can see exactly where dead zones are and find the strongest spot — a portable indoor network analyser.

Cell Tower Lookup
See your connected cell tower location on a map alongside your own GPS pin. Calculates the approximate distance from you to the tower using the OpenCelliD database — no account required.

Call Quality Log
Every completed call is graded A–D based on the RF signal captured during the call. Dropped calls are automatically flagged. Review your history to understand which locations or times of day cause poor calls.

Speed Test
Multi-threaded HTTP network speed test measuring download, upload and latency. Results saved with the signal conditions at the time of the test.

Dual-SIM Comparison
Running two SIMs? Compare LTE signal strength from both carriers side by side in a 15-second automatic test — useful for choosing the best SIM for a location.

Field-Test Mode for Engineers
Neighbour cell list, timing advance-based range estimate, tower compass bearing, band histogram, and a 15-minute signal journal. Built for RF engineers, network technicians, and technically minded users who want real network diagnostics.

No account required. No data sent to third-party servers. Privacy-first by design.
