About this app

Measuring a person's blood glucose level is necessary for people who have diabetes, and it is also used to help determine if a person may have diabetes. Although there are many different blood glucose testing devices and test strips, it is often necessary records these readings so that they could be used as part of a health assessment or used to analyze glucose levels over time.

This mobile app provides a questionnaire that can be used to record the blood glucose values. Since there are different types of blood glucose tests (for example Random Blood Sugar (RBS) or hemoglobin HbA1C), and the calibration of different blood glucometers can be different, it is useful to have a way to keep track of this information.
Instead of freeform test, this mobile app is designed with a specific number picker interface that reduces the possibility of input errors and provides high precision.
This app can be used by itself, or it can be used as part of a suite of apps that is used to do health screening or diagnostic support. By itself, this mobile app does NOT collect or share any data with a remote server. But this app can be used together with ANOTHER mobile app that is designed to collect data and store it in a remote secure database as part of a clinical study.
As an example, the Blood glucose test questionnaire can be used together with the Diabetes Screener mobile app that provides database support and send data to a remote server. You can view the Diabetes Screener mobile app in this link:

An example of how these apps can be used together is demonstrated in the following YouTube video (for the case of Pulmonary Screener):

If you wish to use this mobile app as part of a clinical study using smart phone data collection, please contact our lab for more information.

Thank you.
