Geooh has all the features typical of a geocaching app, but it also has features found only on Geooh. In addition to the one-time purchase price, there is an optional subscription for enhanced features. Go to https://geooh-go.app to learn more about the app than what can be described here.

The optional enhanced subscription includes an Android Auto app and a companion Wear OS app. The Android Auto app shows up to 6 nearby geocaches on the car display. The Wear OS companion app includes two watch faces, a Wear OS tile to show your daily stats, and a map to show selected geocaches.

A core feature of the app can automatically find nearby geocaches while you are driving around. For this feature to work, you must give Android permission to allow Geooh to use your location while the app is running in the background, but not active. You can use other Android apps while Geooh searches! When a nearby geocache is found the app sends an Android notification for each geocache located. You can then bring Geooh to the foreground to download the geocache so you can go find it. The Android Auto feature in Geooh also uses the nearby geocaches feature to show them on the car display.

If you a new geocacher, please use the official app from Groundspeak to learn the game. If you are a more serious and advanced geocacher, Geooh GO is the app for you!

Ratings and reviews

This app out performs all others in all areas. Where it doesn't, it continues to improve. The support is amazing and very quick. The developer works hard to improve this and if you have patience, you can do so much more with this as you learn it. It's my go to for almost all geocaching (the one exception being I still use "other" app for messaging.) My favorite features being lab caching, log setup, and built in wherigo support. Thanks

Usually give it a month or so of use before giving any reviews on an app but I don't need to do that with this one, I'm kicking myself for not purchasing it sooner. Took some time to get everything setup the way I wanted it but that was time well spent--there are features in this app that I never knew I wanted but now I can't live without. Editing logs in app, being able to see the last 5 logs on the map screen, higher accuracy, I could go on for an hour. Absolutely love it.

Trying to navigate the wherigo aspect of the app. Make sure to click "save" before going to the next spot. because i didnt and when i got to the next spot had to start over and don't exit out of the app either or it will prompt a message saying there's a "problem" spent a half hour trying to do a wherigo only for there to be a "problem " which I don't know why I can't just go back to where it was saved before.
