About this app

A site walk produces forty defects and one problem: turning them into something a trade will act on.
Punchlist does that on the walk itself, and it works in a basement with no signal.

PIN, SHOOT, MOVE ON
Load the floorplan, tap where the problem is, take the photo, choose the trade and the severity, and keep
walking. The pin lands on the plan where you tapped it, with a number that stays with the defect for the
rest of its life. There is no form to fill in later and nothing to reconcile at the end of the day.

THE REPORT IS ONE TAP
Punchlist writes the PDF itself, on the phone. A branded cover with your logo and the project details,
a plan page per floor with every pin numbered and placed, then one entry per defect with its photo, its
trade, its severity, its room, its due date and its history. Group it by room, by trade or by severity.
Send the whole thing, or send one trade only their pages, straight into WhatsApp or email through the
share sheet.

THE DEFECT HAS A LIFE
Open, assigned, fixed and claimed, verified, closed. Every change is stamped and kept, so the report you
send in week six can show that the plasterer was told in week two. Nineteen trades are built in, and the
contact book turns an assignment into a message.

NO SIGNAL, NO PROBLEM
There is no account, no sync and no server. Punchlist does not request the internet permission at all,
which is why it works in a lift shaft, a plant room or a basement, and why nothing about your client's
site can leak from it. Your projects, plans, photos and reports live on the phone until you share them.
Export everything as a file whenever you want.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
It does not transcribe your voice notes. Speech to text needs a service, a service needs a network, and
this app does not have one, so notes are typed or kept as audio. It does not import PDF plans; load the
plan as an image from the camera or the gallery. And it has no cloud backup, so an export is your backup.

Free and complete: no per-project charge, no seat licence, no watermark on the report.
Pin snags to the plan, shoot the photo, send the branded PDF. Works offline.

What’s new

A new face for site work: hi-vis yellow on ink, the plan on a drawing board, drawn icons
throughout, and a pin with a tick as the app icon.

Fixed: the assemble button no longer sits over the trade filter. Long notes reach the PDF in full
instead of stopping after three lines. The plan no longer comes up blank after a project switch.
A second tap on save no longer throws you to another tab. Erasing everything now removes every
photograph, and the camera returns with you.
