Reduce an existing PDF toward the file-size limit required by an email, application form, school portal, work upload, or messaging app.
PDF Size Target Compressor checks the real output bytes. It says `Under target` only when the finished PDF is actually at or below your chosen maximum. If the limit cannot be reached, it clearly reports `Best available result` and shows the actual size.
If the selected PDF is already below your limit, the app saves the original bytes without recompression so searchable text and original quality are preserved.
Choose a practical target:
- 100 KB
- 200 KB
- 500 KB
- 1 MB
- 2 MB
- 5 MB
- Custom KB target
Simple workflow:
1. Select a PDF with the Android system document picker.
2. Choose the maximum output size.
3. Compress the complete document on your device.
4. Check the actual before-and-after size and share the result.
Privacy-focused file handling:
- Selected PDFs stay on your device.
- No developer-server upload.
- No account or sign-in.
- No broad storage permission.
When compression is needed, the output is an image-based PDF. Text remains visible but may no longer be selectable or searchable. Password-protected PDFs are not supported. Results vary because some PDFs are already optimized or contain content that cannot be reduced enough for a very small target.
PDFs up to 10 pages are included. One optional rewarded ad can unlock a larger selected PDF, up to 40 pages, for that compression session. The app does not show a completion interstitial.
